Hitachi

When you're really comfortably moving to your next destination, you shouldn't even be aware that you're moving. This redesign of elevators aims to provide stress-free movement by focusing on the unconscious behavior and psychology of users. We revised only the functions and interfaces required for movement without applying flashy designs, and eliminated the provision of unnecessary information and decorative expression.

We pursued “true comfort,” which enables everyone to move to their next destination without anything breaking into their awareness. For example, we focused on intuitive and easy-to-understand operations and displays, a ceiling height that eases the feeling of being closed in, lighting linked to life rhythms, and a comfortable rounding of the four corners of the car so that your shoulders can fit in.
