A Government of India initiative to promote solar power in India. Inaugurated in 2010, it aims to establish India as a global leader in solar energy.
National Hydrogen Mission
Aims to make India the world’s largest hydrogen hub and further encourage the Green Hydrogen Policy to provide cheaper renewable power to citizens.
Solar Rooftop Subsidy Scheme
Aims to promote the use of solar power in the country. Under this scheme, the government provides a subsidy of 40% to residential sector1 for setting up a rooftop solar photovoltaic system up to 3 kW.
