With a mission to digitalize wastewater treatment infrastructure, Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. Infrastructure Systems Division collaborated with Delhi Jal Board, one of the largest government run water utilities in the country, for automating sewage pumps with Internet of Things (IoT). Leveraging its expertise in Green Technologies, Digital Technologies, and Innovation capabilities, Hitachi set up an IoT-based Central Monitoring System for Delhi Jal Board’s 116 Sewage Pumping Stations (SPS) thereby paving the way for:

Real-time monitoring of sewage in SPS

SMS and email alerts to authorities

Prevention of sewage overflow into the environment
