Creating Safer, More Efficient and Innovative Mining Solutions

Picture this – Twelve exhibition halls, featuring over 1,900 exhibitors and covering 840,000 square feet, packed with the latest technology side by side to some of the largest mining equipment. This was MINExpo 2016.

For three days the Las Vegas Convention Centre (LVCC) was home to the mining industries latest and greatest products, services and solutions addressing the commonly faced issues of maximizing production, lowering costs and improving safety; resembling a world of innovation all in one place.

Hitachi`s presence was quadrupled by the participation from Hitachi Mining, Wenco International, Hitachi Cables America and our very own Hitachi Limited and Group Companies booths. Assembled close in proximity within the central hall, the One Hitachi collaboration permitted us to not only display our large heavy mining equipment (HME) – EH4000AC-3 and EX5600-6LD and well established Fleet Management System (FMS) software, but also the supporting services and solutions such as Value-Added Services, Predictive Maintenance scenarios, Lumada platform, etc., as well as introduce the capabilities within the wider Hitachi group companies to the mining industry.

On Monday (26th) evening, Hitachi Mining hosted a customer event to show recognition to and gratitude for the ongoing support from their VIP customers. Attended by many well respected people within the industry, the event was deemed a success.
