SANTA CLARA, August 03, 2026 - Hitachi America, Ltd. (“Hitachi Americas”) today announced the appointment of Sameer Tikoo as Chief Growth Officer (CGO). As CGO, Tikoo will lead Hitachi’s growth strategy across the Americas, a key market for the company. He will focus on deepening strategic customer relationships, expanding public sector engagement, and aligning business development and strategic partnerships across Hitachi companies in the Americas.

Tikoo joins Hitachi Americas after 18 years at GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, where he most recently served as Group Vice President and Global Head of the Communications, Network and Cybersecurity business units. During his tenure, he helped grow GlobalLogic’s Communications Business Unit into one of the company’s largest and fastest-growing business units. Earlier in his career, he held engineering and leadership roles at Bharti Airtel, Hughes Software Systems, and Baypackets. Tikoo is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
