John Randall will be appointed President & CEO of HIES, succeeding Yasuhiro (Charlie) Takeuchi, who has been promoted to Vice President and Executive Officer, Hitachi, Ltd. and President & CEO of Hitachi America, Ltd.

Randall brings extensive leadership experience to his new role, having led Hitachi Global Air Power (formerly Sullair) as President & CEO for four years. John served as President of Sullair Asia for more than two years, and Vice President of Global Engineering for Sullair for more than six years. "Leading HIES has been an incredible privilege, and I'm proud of what we've accomplished- expanding our global footprint and fostering a culture where employees thrive," said Takeuchi. "I look forward to working with John to ensure a smooth transition before April 1 and continuing to help drive growth in North America."

In addition, Hideki Fujimoto will become President & CEO of Hitachi Global Air Power, effective April 1, 2025. Fujimoto, currently Deputy Group Executive of the Global Air Power division within HIES, will relocate from Tokyo to the United States in the coming months.
