Hitachi to donate to support earthquake relief efforts in Colombia

Tokyo, August 24, 2026 - Hitachi Group extends its deepest sympathies to all those affected by the earthquake that struck Colombia on August 10.

Hitachi, Ltd. today announced that it will donate a total of 250 thousand U.S. dollars (approx. 40 million yen) to support relief efforts for people affected by the disaster and reconstruction of the affected areas.

Additionally, Hitachi Group employees will also have the opportunity to support the relief efforts through individual donations as part of a company-organized matching program in partnership with the Red Cross.

Hitachi Group wishes for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.
