The first Hitachi group's company in Japan to achieve zero CO2 emissions

Hitachi High-Tech Corporation opened "Omuta Center*2" in November 2012, as a manufacturing BCP*1 site for Naka Area (Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture) which is a major manufacturing site of Hitachi High-Tech, and began production operations in Omuta City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
In September 2016, our manufacturing-related BCP site functions were expanded by the transfer of some design and development function from Naka Area, and we established "Hitachi High-Tech Kyushu Corporation", to pursue more innovative business activities.

In June 2020, Hitachi High-Tech Kyushu achieved zero CO2 emissions for the first time in the Hitachi Group in Japan, and in August of the same year, it was registered as an "Eco Business Site" by Fukuoka Prefecture.
Currently, we are systematically implementing energy-saving activities by switching to LED lighting, upgrading to highly efficient air conditioning equipment, and visualizing power consumption.
