Founded in 2012
Hitachi first established a presence in Myanmar in November 2012 as Hitachi Thailand Yangon Branch. In May 2014, it became Hitachi Asia Ltd. (Myanmar Branch) to further explore the country’s growing business opportunities and support sustainable development. Hitachi has also long contributed to Myanmar’s social infrastructure, supplying power generation equipment to local power plants since the 1950s.

Hitachi in Thailand
Founded in 1992
Hitachi Asia (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (HAS-TH) provides expert solutions in meeting the needs of customers in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. HAS-TH markets a wide range of products and services for various industry sectors ranging from Power and Infrastructure Systems, Information and Telecommunication Systems, Electronic devices to International Procurement services.
Some of HAS-TH’s product range includes electrical power plants, industrial process machinery and advanced software technology. In addition, Hitachi Asia Thailand provides support to 2,736 employees in more than 21 subsidiary companies in Thailand.
Hitachi Asia Thailand is committed to serve the local community. We have rolled out various corporate social responsibility initiatives to increase staff involvement in different social causes.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, we donated High Flow Oxygen Generators to alleviate the burden of public hospitals. We also organized Hitachi Blood Hero, a blood donation drive which will help to save lives.
