As we enter a new financial year amid heightened global uncertainty, resilience and long‑term partnership have become more important than ever. I would like to express my sincere thanks for your continued trust and partnership—progress across the Asia Pacific region is made possible by you.
Looking ahead, our focus remains on driving sustainable regional growth across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region together with our Group companies. By continuing to work closely with customers and partners across industries and markets, we aim to support progress that is resilient, inclusive, and long‑term for the communities we serve.
We are operating in a more challenging global environment. Geopolitical tensions are affecting energy supply, logistics, and global supply chains, with implications across the APAC region. Governments and organisations are taking steps to strengthen preparedness and ensure the continuity of essential services.
In this context, the role of reliable, resilient infrastructure is increasingly important. As an essential infrastructure partner, Hitachi remains committed to supporting stability, continuity, and long‑term value creation for the industries and communities we serve.
At the same time, rapid technological change is reshaping how infrastructure is designed, operated, and maintained. Artificial intelligence is extending beyond the digital domain into physical systems, including energy, mobility, and industrial operations. This convergence is creating new opportunities to improve efficiency, resilience, and sustainability at scale.

Having worked in Hitachi Asia for the past two years, I have seen how much the region has changed since my time here more than twenty years ago.
Today’s operating environment is more complex, and I am encouraged by how our teams across Southeast Asia continue to respond to these challenges with strong commitment and professionalism.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers, partners and colleagues for your continued trust and collaboration.

Under our management plan, “Inspire 2027,” we are focused on achieving sustainable growth. What matters most is how we integrate AI and digital capabilities into our solutions, helping our customers address real‑world challenges and create long‑term value.
As we move towards 2027, three priorities will guide our efforts in Southeast Asia:
- Grow together with our partners to create long‑term value and sustainable success across the region
- Deliver integrated, future‑ready solutions that support infrastructure, manufacturing and urban development
- Act as a regional hub to connect capabilities and provide a more seamless experience for our customers
Southeast Asia presents strong opportunities while also facing increasing challenges. Rapid urbanisation, changing economic conditions and geopolitical uncertainties require us to act with greater agility and closer collaboration.
In this environment, we will focus on priority areas and translate our strategies into clear actions. By working closely with our customers and partners, we aim to deepen engagement, strengthen our pipeline and support sustainable growth across the region.
We will also strengthen our presence across Southeast Asia to respond more quickly to local needs. By combining strong local knowledge with regional capabilities, we aim to deliver solutions that are practical, relevant and timely for our customers.
