From Forest to Future: Hitachi Asia Ltd Philippine Branch’s Commitment to Sustainability

Recently, employees from Hitachi Asia Ltd Philippine Branch came together for a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity at the breathtaking Masungi Georeserve in Baras, Rizal.
 

The event, titled “Growing Roots of Responsibility”, was a hands-on initiative focused on tree nurturing and forest restoration. It brought together passionate employees from across departments, united by a shared purpose: to care for the environment and deepen their connection to the natural world.

Throughout the day, the team nurtured young saplings from previous reforestation efforts, cleared invasive species to help native trees thrive, and learned from conservation experts about biodiversity and watershed protection. The experience also offered space for reflection and team bonding, reminding everyone of the impact we can make when we work together.
