Hitachi at SEMICON SEA 2026 – Driving Sustainable Semiconductor Solutions

Hitachi will participate in SEMICON Southeast Asia (SEMICON SEA 2026) to address key challenges the semiconductor industry is facing today and to answer the pressing question of “What’s next in sustainable semicon manufacturing?”
Through innovations such as autonomous mobile robot (AMR), automation, equipment front-end modules (EFEMs) and oil-free compressed air systems, Hitachi is helping chipmakers accelerate decarbonisation across global manufacturing operations.
At SEMICON SEA 2026, Hitachi will showcase a comprehensive suite of semiconductor capabilities across two pillars—Materials / Logistics and Production—to enhance the operational efficiency of semiconductor fabrication facilities sustainably:
- Materials / Logistics (Booth 2583): Hitachi enhances the supply and value chain network through the sourcing of sustainable materials. With Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions, logistics efficiency is improved both in cleanroom fabrication environments and across semiconductor plant compounds
- Production (Booth 2583 & 2102): Hitachi advances key processes across both front-end and back-end production. By meeting stringent standards and regulations, Hitachi’s solutions — including automation, AMR, process and metrology equipment and oil-free compressors — contribute to a more sustainable semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.
To give visitors the ultimate hands-on experience, the latest EFEM model, hLFF EFEM, will be on display at the Hitachi Group Company, JR Automation (JRA) booth (booth 2102). Visitors can gain practical knowledge on how to use the unit to support next-generation process-handling to meet the ever-changing demands of the chips design through live demonstrations.
