Enhanced by HMAX

Announced 'Enhanced by HMAX', an extension of our digital asset management platform across rolling stock, signaling, infrastructure and operations from 2027. This extends data-driven decision making beyond rolling stock to infrastructure and operations, helping customers improve asset performance, reliability and operational efficiency.

Following the launch of HMAX at InnoTrans 2024, Hitachi Rail's HMAX sensor technology is now installed on approximately 2,500 trains. The existing order pipeline, will see this expand to almost 3,500 trains equipped with HMAX technology in the coming years.

Mobility Reimagined Report

The launch of Mobility Reimagined report, bringing together insights from some of the most influential global leaders across technology, transport and academia on how mobility will evolve toward 2050.

The report concludes that mobility is undergoing a fundamental transformation and will be viewed as a connected system. Future transport networks will need to be designed around seamless end-to-end journeys enabled by AI, digital twins, automation and connected infrastructure.

Expert Talks - What's Next for Mobility

Across four days of discussions, industry leaders explored how AI, digital twins, automation and trusted partnerships are shaping the future of mobility. Conversations focused on delivering more resilient, connected and passenger-centric transport networks.

Hitachi experts were joined by customers and technology leaders, with speakers from NVIDIA, FirstGroup, ATM Milano, Google, Anthropic, Microsoft and Network Rail contributing to the conversation.

The booth also included live demonstrations of electrification and digitalization technologies.
