Hitachi announces to donate for earthquake relief efforts in China

Tokyo, April 19, 2010 --- Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi (China) Ltd. today announced that Hitachi, Ltd. and Hitachi (China) Ltd. have decided to donate RMB 1 million (14 million yen) to support earthquake relief efforts in Qinghai province in western China on April 14th.

Hitachi expresses deep condolences for victims of the earthquake and sincerely hopes for the earliest recovery of the people and areas in Qinghai province affected by the disaster.
