Hitachi to Provide Support for the Recovery from the Typhoon Haiyan
in the Philippines

Tokyo, Japan, November 14, 2013 - Hitachi, Ltd. today announced the decision of the Hitachi Group to donate 10 million Japanese Yen (4.35 million pesos*) to assist in the relief efforts following the massive destruction caused by Typhoon Haiyan that hit central Philippines last week.

Hitachi expresses its deep condolences for the victims of the typhoon and sincerely hopes for the earliest recovery of the people and areas in the Philippines that have been affected by the disaster.
