Hitachi High-Tech Enters into a collaboration agreement with Chulalongkorn University of Thailand, contributing toward sustainable industry and academic developments

Tokyo, June 30, 2025 Hitachi High-Tech (Thailand) Ltd., a Group company of Hitachi High-Tech Corporation ("Hitachi High-Tech") has entered into a contractual agreement of collaboration ("this agreement") with the Petroleum and Petrochemical College (PPC) of Chulalongkorn University (Location: Kingdom of Thailand). With this agreement, Hitachi High-Tech Group will contribute to the creation of new industrial values by pushing data science education forward, enhancing social implementations of research results, and partnerships between industry and academic institutions.
Chulalongkorn University is an exemplar of Southeast Asian global educational institutions, with exceptional aptitudes in the next generation of process engineering, including catalytic reactions, process optimization, and green energy conversion, targeted toward achieving a sustainable petrochemical industry. The Hitachi High-Tech Group offers MI Solutions using Materials Informatics ("MI") and contributes to improved efficiency in research and development operations. In addition, with multiple Group companies located in Thailand, it has been conducting active sales operations in the Southeast Asia region over years.
In this agreement, the Hitachi High-Tech Group will utilize its specialist knowledge of informatics as well as the global networks and capabilities of frontline function it has cultivated to provide services to Chulalongkorn University centered around MI, which is essential for enhancing the education and research conducted at Chulalongkorn University. Using the knowledge and resources of both parties, we will contribute toward sustainable industry and academic developments around the world with a focus on Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and Southeast Asian regions, as well as offering opportunities for growth that are mutually beneficial for students, university affiliates and related affiliated businesses.
Going forward, Hitachi High-Tech will continue leveraging our capabilities of global frontline function, domain knowledge, points of contact and technological capabilities to create solutions and business models that lead to solutions stemming from all forms of social issues, and to contribute to market growth in the industrial and social infrastructure fields.
