Outline and Characteristics of the Ordered Elevators and Escalators

Hitachi and Hitachi Building Systems will deliver total 139 elevators and escalators consisting of 104 elevators including ultra-high-speed elevators with a rated speed of 480 m/min and high-speed and high-capacity elevators with a rated speed of 300 m/min and capacity of 4,550 kg (number of passengers: 70) and 35 escalators for zone C of the Nihonbashi 1-Chome Central District Category 1 Urban Redevelopment Project.
In addition, they will provide FIBEE, a destination floor reservation system that reserves an optimal elevator by registering a destination floor with a registration device installed in the elevator hall and displays the number of that elevator on the liquid crystal display of the device and the FI-700, a human flow prediction elevator operation control system to efficiently allocate elevator using AI.

Outline of the Human Flow Simulator

The human flow simulator developed by Hitachi and Hitachi Building Systems is a tool that visualizes the flow of people in the building as 3D (3-dimensional) images or video when a building layout including the conditions of installed elevators (e.g., installation location, number of units, and specifications), expected number of passengers, flow lines, etc. are input. This allows you to instinctively judge the design of the layout in the building construction planning phase and to consider the flow lines in the building, including the elevators.
