Main Characteristics

(1) Providing products in response to fluctuations in demand through enhanced manufacturing capacity and manufacturing that can react flexibly

In the manufacturing process of printed circuit boards and components at the Tarazaki Site, we have created a highly efficient and stable manufacturing system through the implementation of automated conveyance of materials and the automating of manufacturing and inspection. In addition, we will continue to ensure the stable provision of high-quality products and contribute to improving people's QoL by putting in place production management systems that can flexibly respond to market fluctuations and also quickly respond to the expected future growth of the healthcare market.

(2) Contributing to creating a decarbonized society through virtually zero emissions with operations powered by renewable energy

Hitachi High-Tech Group aims to achieve virtually zero emissions in all its domestic and overseas sites by FY2027 and throughout the entire value chain by FY2050. Through its use of renewable energy, the Tarazaki Site has achieved virtually zero greenhouse gas emissions since its completion. In addition to our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, we have introduced environmentally conscious design (eco-design) and life-cycle assessments as part of our product development process. This enables us to reduce electricity consumption in the design and development stages as well as at the product usage stage, thereby contributing to reducing emissions throughout the entire value chain.
