Hitachi Wins "Public Sector Solution Provider Program Partner of the Year - APJ" at the "2025 AWS Partner Awards"

Hitachi, Ltd. (Hitachi) has been awarded the "Public Sector Solution Provider Program Partner of the Year - APJ" at the "2025 AWS Partner Awards"*1 hosted by Amazon.com, Inc. (AWS). This award recognizes top solution providers in the public sector who resell and provide Amazon Web Services (AWS) as part of their own service offerings. Hitachi was recognized for its contribution to the advancement of digital transformation in administrative services by implementing a common cloud infrastructure platform on AWS to unify the previously siloed IT infrastructures built separately by each department in large municipalities.

In introducing the common cloud infrastructure platform, Hitachi actively engaged in discussions with each department not only on architecture design and implementation but also on the methods for migrating various business systems to AWS, thereby accelerating the migration plan. As a result, this enabled rapid and flexible responses to changes and enhanced security, contributing to the advancement of digital transformation in administrative services.
Hitachi has long collaborated with AWS on solution development, sales, and talent development. This project leverages the results of the strong partnership between the two companies built over many years.
Going forward, Hitachi will leverage its expertise in IT, OT, and products, as well as its AI capabilities, to continuously create innovative digital solutions. Through further collaboration with AWS, Hitachi will also support system modernization across social infrastructure sectors including finance, public services, and transportation, thereby contributing to the realization of digital transformation.
