On December 5, the "Buy and Help Society! Bazaar" and charity concert were held at the B1 Fountain Plaza Stage of Ikebukuro Sunshine City, located in Toshima Ward of Tokyo, as part of the 2017 Tohoku and Kumamoto restoration support. This event, which was held for the 6th time, aimed to provide restoration support for Tohoku and Kumamoto and contribute to the local community through the Tohoku and Kumamoto Products Fair, where local products were sold by NPO, and the Charity Concert by students and graduates of the Tokyo College of Music.

Approximately 200 local specialties of Kumamoto Prefecture and the various prefectures in the Tohoku region were sold at the Tohoku and Kumamoto Products Fair, such as the taro karinto, a famous snack from Taro, Miyako City in Iwate Prefecture which recovered from the damage caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Amatoya Matsukaze, a traditional Japanese sweet from Kikuchi City in Kumamoto Prefecture, which experienced a significant fall in the number of tourists due to the damage to tourist attractions, and the fuyu-gaki persimmons from Asakura City in Fukuoka Prefecture, where the orchards continue to produce persimmons while recovering from the damage caused by the disaster.

For the Charity Concert, current students and graduates of the Tokyo College of Music performed popular string quartet and opera pieces and the restoration support song "Hana wa Saku". The audience and visitors were also treated to Christmas songs performed by the professional clarinet ensemble group Lampi, which was formed by graduates of the Tokyo College of Music. In addition, KUMAMON, the mascot character of Kumamoto Prefecture made an appearance to great cheers from the audience.

The proceeds from this event will be used to aid support activities in disaster-hit areas, through the various NPOs.
