Nuclear power generation is a clean energy source that can limit global warming because it produces almost no CO2 at the generation stage. It stably covers 30% or more of Japan's power generation.
The Smart Grid combines IT and energy, and enables effective use of renewable energy like wind and solar power alongside conventional sources.
We are pushing ahead with the technological development of various generation systems, towards the realization of a low-carbon society.
